We built the platform we wish had existed.
StrikePrice started with a number in someone's head.
My Mum wanted to downsize. She knew exactly what she'd sell for — a number that felt fair, that would give her the life she wanted next. Not a cent less.
But there was no way to put that number anywhere. To say — here's my home, here's my price, find me the person who agrees.
Instead she had to choose between a full sales campaign with an agent, an auction she didn't want, or doing nothing and waiting.
That didn't make sense to me.
I have three properties. I know my number on every single one of them. Most Australian homeowners do. They just have nowhere to put it.
StrikePrice is that place.
It's free to list. There's no obligation. No agent taking 2–3%. No auction stress. Just your price, publicly stated, waiting for the one buyer who agrees it's fair.
We think there are millions of Australian properties that would sell today — if only their owners had a consequence-free way to name their price.
